(NEED PRIOR PERMISSION) NAGA-FESTIVAL IN JANUARY)
The different Naga ethnic groups from various areas participate in
this festival every January. The war like Naga ethnic group wear their
full dresses.
The festival can only be reached after a several day-long rough
journey, organized by the Myanmar Tourism Authority. Individual trips
at other times are not permitted.
The Naga’s way of life and their culture can be observed at the
festival.
There is also a Naga museum, displaying Naga clothes and historical
items.
