FLT Beach extension Ngapali Beach

Ngapali Beach can be reached conveniently by flight from Heho / Bagan / Sittwe or Yangon to Thandwe airport, around 15 minutes to Ngapali Beach. There is a road to Yangon, going by car however is not recommended due to bad road conditions.

Ngapali was the first up market beach destination for foreigners, offering in the meantime a number of resorts. There are numerous small private restaurants aside the beach resorts. There is plenty of inexpensive and fresh seafood available.

Although more beach resorts have been built, there are no high-rises; all is bungalow style, fitting rather well into the landscape.

Thandwe town is a rather large town with a large market around 30 minutes drive from the beach
