Fascinating Land Travels strives to open up to you our country  of Myanmar, previous known under the name of Burma. In the past Myanmar was visited by very few visitors, due to three decades of self-imposed isolation. Lately Myanmar is attracting people from all over the world with its hospitality and charming people, cultural and archeological sites. Most famous are the magnificent Bagan (Pagan) area with thousands of Buddhist stupas and pagodas, built from the 10th century onwards, together with the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon with its large golden stupa.
Much of daily life of Myanmar people centers on the predominant religion, the Theravada Buddhism. Most public holidays are religious ones and often pagoda festivals, celebrated over several days, are good occasions to observe the Myanmar people. We hope you will allow plenty of time!

Myanmar, however, has more to offer than its pagodas. It offers diverse kinds of climate from tropical to temperate, palm trees and its famous Ngapali Beach, deserts, mighty rivers like the famous Ayeyarwady (formerly known as Irrawaddy) and pine forests in the mountains of the Shan State and Inle Lake. We organize individual, tailor-made tours tailored to the interests of our guests, traveling as individuals or in small private groups.
